株式会社設立のお知らせ
このたび、2023年2月10日付で株式会社和田翻訳事務所を設立いたしました。
設立後も順調な滑り出しで、新規のお客様が毎月増えています。
私が個人事業主として翻訳業を始めたのは2011年のことで、当時は上手くいくのか不安でした。株式会社の設立は、当時の自分が考えてもみなかったこと。この10年は長いようで短かったです。
今後は「株式会社」という器を活かして、翻訳の枠を超えて企業価値の向上に貢献していきます。一般に、原稿を受け取って翻訳を納品すれば、翻訳会社の仕事は終わりです。でも、それで十分でしょうか？
依頼主はその前後に沢山の業務を抱えていて、最終的な目的は翻訳を手にした先にあります。翻訳は「目的」を叶えるための「手段」です。翻訳そのものが「目的」ではありません。弊社は依頼主と一緒に知恵を絞り、原稿の作成段階から翻訳後の目的達成まで支援します。
たとえば、IR（投資家向け広報）では、IR戦略の立案から原稿の作成支援、翻訳、そして海外投資家との対話まで一気通貫で支援し、企業価値の向上を図ります。翻訳会社が顧客チームの一員として活躍する姿が理想像です。
会社設立後にポジティブな反響を多くいただき大変嬉しく思っております。
最近は、IR（投資家向け広報）やサステナビリティ分野の引き合いが特に多いです。

Establishment of Wada Translation Office Inc.
I’m pleased to announce the incorporation of Wada Translation Office Inc. on February 10, 2023. Since the incorporation, the business has made a great start, and new clients are increasing every month.
I was anxious about its prospects when I initiated my translation service as a sole proprietor in 2011. I did not even think of incorporating a stock company at that time. This decade seemed long but short.
Moving forward, our company will contribute to the enhancement of corporate value beyond the realm of translation services. In general, the work of translation companies finishes when they receive source documents and deliver translated documents. Is this service sufficient?
Clients are obsessed with various tasks before and after the translation process, and their final goal lies far beyond receiving translations. The translation is a means to an end. We find the best way to support the whole process from creating drafts to achieving the goals.
In the investor relations (IR) field, for instance, we comprehensively support the process ranging from developing IR strategies, creating drafts, and translating documents to deepening engagement with overseas investors, resulting in enhanced corporate value. We aim to play a role as a team member of the client.
After establishing our company, I am delighted to receive many positive responses.
Recently, IR and sustainability projects have been increasing significantly.
